About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to share some information about myself with you.
Biography
I am originally from Southern California, having attended Loma Linda University for both medical school and residency, though I have also lived across the country, attending Tulane University in New Orleans for graduate school. I was drawn to medicine because both of my parents are in the medical field, and particularly to psychiatry as both of my sisters have required special needs. Growing up, I saw the need for caring providers to help patients in being at their best not only physically but mentally.
About my practice
I primarily practice outpatient psychiatry. I have been trained in and practice using multiple modalities that include psychotherapy, medications, and somatic therapies.
How I thrive
I believe that helping people have a healthy and balanced life has to start with maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Spending quality time with my family is a major priority, even if it is just relaxing at home together with good books. I am a big football fan, having adopted the New Orleans Saints from my time in the Crescent City, watching every game during the season and attempting to go to games when I am able.
