About Me
Welcome to my Web page. If you have trouble pronouncing my name, you are not alone. Here is how to pronounce my name: Xiaolei (Shaolei, like Sport Chalet) Xing (Shing).
Biography
I came to the United States at age 16. I grew up in Harbin, Northern China, a city close to Russia. My husband and I adopted a black Labrador (Bart) in 2011, right before I joined Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
It is not easy to be in the doctor's office and I want to make that experience a little easier for you. I believe you, as a patient, should have control of your own care and have all the information you need to make the right decision for your health. My upbringing taught me to respect the elderly, and I completed a geriatric fellowship to learn more about the challenges of elderly care. I treat every person in my care with dignity and autonomy at all times.
How I thrive
I jog or walk every morning by myself or with my daughter and Bart, our black Lab. I restarted taking piano lessons from my college piano teacher.
