About Me

I consider it a privilege to work with children and teens to help them feel better every day. I come from a small town in India, and moved to the US in 2003. I finished my residency and fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. After falling in love with Portland I decided to make the move here.

About my practice

I specialize in caring for kids with gastrointestinal problems and liver disorders. I have training in upper and lower endoscopies, placement of impedance and pH probes and liver biopsies. I enjoy caring for children and fostering special relationships with their families. I am a believer of preventive care and it is one of the biggest things I appreciate of being at Kaiser Permanente.

How I thrive

My work is one of my biggest passions and one of the main reasons I get out of bed every morning. The other reason is my family, I feel very fortunate to have my husband and daughter in my life. I relish participating in all of my daughter's school and extracurricular activities. I also enjoy travelling and reading whenever possible.
