About Me

I was raised in Michigan and completed bachelor’s degrees at the University of Michigan and Michigan State. I then completed my doctorate degree at Michigan State, followed by my residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. I started solo private practice in Tennessee and continued there for 10 years. I believe all people have something they can teach me and so I enjoy meeting new patients.

About my practice

I try to be holistic in my care and enlist the resources available to us in reaching your health goals. I believe most patients know what is wrong with them and my job is to listen and help to solve the problem. I believe that treating pain is a complex process but medication is generally not needed when physical therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic services are available. Narcotic pain medication rarely needs to be used. I believe anxiety can be debilitating but with counseling services and daily use medication, it can be controlled. Looking at alcohol and substance use is important in managing your health. A healthy diet and exercise can cure many ills.

How I thrive

I rely on my family and friends for emotional and social health. I enjoy fishing, sailing and traveling. Mostly, I depend on my beliefs in God to keep me focused.
