About Me
I am a native Oregonian—from Eugene—and have practiced in California, Texas, and now Oregon.
About my practice
I am an internist who has evolved into a “complexivist”—that is, I specialize in treating (usually older) members who have very long lists of problems. I currently work in the Continuing Care Department in dual capacities. Part of the time I am at Benedictine Nursing Center in Mt. Angel, where Kaiser Permanente contracts for skilled nursing facility (SNF) beds for the greater Salem area. The rest of the time I serve as a Virtual Home Health doctor, where I am part of a small team of internal medicine physicians who assist more than 200 field staff who are out each day taking care of more than 1,000 medically complex and frail members in their homes.
How I thrive
I enjoy hanging with my husband and teen son, traveling, recharging at the Oregon coast, and getting together with old college friends. Two of my hobbies are listening to music of all kinds and knitting Portland hipster hats.
