About Me

I moved to Denver from Tacoma, Washington, where I practiced emergency medicine and urgent care for 12 years. Prior to that, I attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts and completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. I have a husband, two children and a Bernese mountain dog. My family is looking forward to drying out from the rainy Pacific Northwest, meeting new friends, and exploring Denver and the Rockies.

About my practice

I practice emergency medicine and urgent care because I enjoy providing acute, episodic care to patients when they are acutely ill or are unable to see their primary doctors. I enjoy the challenge of listening to patients, figuring out what is causing their symptoms, and working with them to establish an appropriate plan to start them on the road to recovery. In urgent care, I see a wide variety of patients of all ages, genders and sociocultural backgrounds. I want my patients to feel good about the care they received from my team and to know that they were truly cared for as human beings as well as patients.

How I thrive

When I am not at work, I like to be creative. I enjoy painting, cooking, mosaics and sewing. I hope to continue to improve as a skier. I love to travel both locally and internationally with my family when we get the opportunity.
