About Me
Hi there. I am a partner physician in the Department of Cardiology at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles.
Biography
I was born in Los Angeles but have lived in Northern California, the Southeast, and the Midwest. I am the third doctor in my entire extended family. I chose medicine as a career because I wanted to improve people's lives while being intellectually stimulated. I also have a passion for teaching.
About my practice
I am an invasive cardiologist, an echocardiographer, and a heart failure specialist. I serve as director of the heart transplant program at our Los Angeles Medical Center.
How I thrive
I stay well mentally and physically by pursuing my hobbies. I am an avid golfer, tennis player, and skier. I also play bridge and chess. In addition, I play classical piano and love to paint and draw. I have thrown several ceramic pieces on the wheel, and they now populate my house.
