About Me
Welcome to my Web page. It’s my pleasure to introduce myself. Please read about me to get a better sense of my background, training, and approach to members. I can’t imagine a better environment than this one to diagnose, treat, and heal. I’m just one part of a team that’s here to serve you and meet your needs.
Biography
I was born and raised in Southern California. I received my undergraduate degree from Brown University in Rhode Island and completed medical school, my internal medicine residency, and chief medical residency at UC San Diego. After that, I moved to Orange County for my fellowship in gastroenterology at UC Irvine. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2010. My wife, 2 children, and I are thrilled to make Southern California our home.
About my practice
I enjoy taking care of members with all types of gastroenterology issues, and I place a high value on being thorough, thoughtful, and empathetic. I really try to get to know my members well, since it helps me understand how they are feeling and has the added benefit of making my job much more enjoyable!
How I thrive
I strive for as much work-life balance as possible. When I’m at work, I give it my all, and when I am home, I try to live life to the fullest. Staying close to family and friends, enjoying the Southern California sunshine, and eating as well as I can, all keep me balanced. My wife and I enjoy cooking, watching movies, reading, talking politics, and getting outdoor exercise.
