Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.
I am originally from Nigeria and have lived in the United States for more than 20 years. I decided to become a physician at a very early age, as I felt it would give me the best opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. I went to medical school here in San Diego and fell in love with the city but was anxious to explore the East Coast. I chose to do my residency training in Boston and returned to California to be closer to family.
I work full time in the hospital providing care to our hospitalized members. As a hospital physician, I have a chance to meet several members; however, I am usually meeting them for the first time and at a very vulnerable time. My goal, therefore, is to always make my members and their families feel comfortable and confident that they are getting the best care and that they have the best possible experience during a difficult time.
To achieve a work/life balance, I take time to exercise regularly. I also enjoy yoga and traveling.
