About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to working with you for better health. Let me tell you a little about myself.

Biography

I am originally from Maine, and graduated from the University of Maine. I came to San Francisco after graduation for adventure, to escape the cold, and eventually for podiatric medical school and residency at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. In 1991, I came to Southern California to begin my career with Kaiser Permanente at Panorama City. In 2008, I gave up my surgical practice, but resumed practicing non-surgical podiatry again in the office setting at the Redlands Medical Office Building in 2010.

About my practice

My podiatric practice is the non-surgical care and management of foot conditions. I believe education and making sound choices based on that information is the most important factor for good health. Although a podiatric practice is literally very hands on, I make an effort to pass on my academic and experiential knowledge to members when they come in for a visit.

How I thrive

I believe the sources of our food and how we treat one another and our planet has direct and indirect effects on our health. I make an effort to eat organic, locally sourced foods. In addition to eating well, I walk or work out three to four days a week. I spend as much of my free time as I can with my family, which, I think, is the most important way I thrive!
