About Me
I grew up in the Philadelphia area and received my medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I relocated to Portland to train in psychiatry at Oregon Health and Science University, and I started working for Kaiser Permanente shortly after graduation. My pronouns are he/him/his.
About my practice
In my practice, I utilize a variety of approaches depending on the clinical situation. My approach of practice is one of transparency and directness. I believe 2-way communication is essential to have a good working relationship.
- Population specialties: adults
- Language capacity: English
- Areas of focus: In addition to interventions for a range of mental health conditions including depression and anxiety, I have specific skills in general adult psychiatry.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as quiet time reading and relaxing. Joyfulness and humor are important to me, and I strive toward those on a daily basis. For physical activity, I enjoy hiking any time of year, skiing, and body boarding on the Oregon coast.
