About Me
I was born in Long Beach, California, and grew up in nearby Whittier. I earned my undergraduate nursing degree from Brigham Young University (BYU) and had already been working as an associate RN at a hospital in Payson, Utah, when I learned about CRNAs. I earned my anesthesia certificate and graduate degree from Truman Medical Center and University of Missouri-Kansas City. I have been privileged to provide anesthesia to our members in a variety of settings for nearly 30 years.
About my practice
I enjoy working with providers from diverse backgrounds. I look forward to the daily challenge of establishing positive relationships with my members in the brief time I have while they are still conscious, before receiving the benefits of my services. I feel especially rewarded when providing pain relief in the obstetric arena.
How I thrive
I decompress daily by walking my beautiful Australian Shepard, Stanley. We visit our 9 grandkids via FaceTime weekly, and most weeks we actually get to see the 2 granddaughters who live in town. I enjoy working in our yard. We look forward to our annual family camping trip somewhere in the beautiful Northwest, and we can't miss our yearly trek to Provo, Utah, for a BYU football game. Go Cougs!
