About Me

I moved to Denver from Cleveland, Ohio, in 1987. I lived in Denver for nearly 20 years during which time I completed my high school, undergraduate, graduate and medical education. I spent four years in Northern California, where I completed my residency and joined Kaiser Permanente. I moved back to Colorado in 2010 to be closer to family and friends. I am married and have two children.

About my practice

As a family medicine physician, I am trained to care for the entire family. I enjoy taking care of children, adolescents and adults. I emphasize prevention in my practice and prefer to minimize medications. I take the time to get to know my patients and listen to understand your questions and concerns. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate your care.

How I thrive

I am a strong advocate for healthy lifestyle choices and believe a plant-based diet and exercise can promote a longer and happier life. We are fortunate to live in a place that provides ample opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoy bicycling, skiing, golf and fly fishing.
