About Me
I was born and raised in Taiwan. After completing medical school, I decided that it was time for an adventure. I spent time in Texas, Connecticut, and Washington during my residency and fellowship training. Now I am happy to say that I have a great job as a rheumatologist and have the pleasure of working with wonderful colleagues and patients.
About my practice
I am a rheumatologist and an internist by training. I treat people with rheumatic diseases or inflammatory conditions. Since rheumatic diseases are relatively rare and mysterious with multi-organ system involvement, I always try to do as much patient education as possible. I believe that patients need to understand the diseases and be on board with the treatment plan in order to have the best outcome. I also like to involve patients in decision-making so that we can come up with a plan that will work for individual patients.
How I thrive
Life is full of surprises for me. I enjoy trying new hobbies and spending time with family and friends.
