About Me

Welcome to my Web page. Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I am a native of Coachella Valley, born and raised in Palm Springs. I didn't always want to be a physician. In fact, I didn't even attend high school when I was a teenager. It wasn't until my mid-20s that I went back to school. I earned my high school diploma, and received two scholarships for my achievements in physics and biology. I attended UCLA, where I studied biochemistry, neuroscience, and philosophy, and went on to the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where I received a scholarship and several academic awards. I returned to Southern California to do my internship and residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

About my practice

What I like most about being a physician is the opportunity to help so many people. When members come to me for care, I make sure they understand all the aspects of their diagnosis and treatment. I'm honored that they place their trust in me to care for their health and wellbeing.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of care for the whole person, both in mind and body. I practice this myself by eating well, exercising daily, getting appropriate preventive health care, spending quality time with family and friends, and meditating.
