About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

Although I am originally from New York, I have lived in Southern California for more than 30 years. I attended the University of Virginia for both undergraduate and medical school. After completing my training in obstetrics and gynecology in San Antonio, Texas, I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1983 and have enjoyed being here ever since. My interests included computers and their application to medicine. If you enjoy Star Trek, we’ll have a lot to talk about!

About my practice

As a general ob-gyn physician, my practice includes taking care of women during their pregnancy, as well as later in life, to help with gynecologic problems that might develop. Some of the gynecologic issues I take care of include abnormalities of the Pap smear, menstrual problems, and contraceptive concerns.

How I thrive

I admit I was “late to the table” regarding sensible eating (notice, I don’t call it “dieting”) and exercise. But I was able to change to a more healthy diet and began an exercise program. I’m happy to report that I’ve successfully lost some weight and increased my endurance. I feel so much better! So why am I boring you with this admission? Because if I can do it, so can you!
