About Me

Welcome to my web page. I am pleased to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I think that it is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope that this page will help you to get to know me.

Biography

I grew up in Northern California and received my Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UC Berkeley. I then completed my PhD at UC Berkeley, with my research focusing on exercise physiology.  I went to medical school at Western University of Health Sciences and completed my residency and sports medicine fellowship at Kaiser Fontana. I chose to be a family physician because I enjoyed the continuity of care and having the opportunity to follow a member from childhood into his or her later years. In addition, I have always enjoyed participating in sports and believe that staying physically active is an important aspect to maintaining health. I strive to help keep my patients active and doing the activities that they enjoy.

About my practice

I am board certified in family medicine and sports medicine. I believe being physically active, eating a balanced diet, and preventative medicine are the best ways to staying healthy. My nurses and I will partner with you to help you optimize your health and make the best medical decisions.

How I thrive

During my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young children, whether it is going to the park, playing soccer or going to Disneyland. I also enjoy running, swimming and cycling to stay active.
