About Me

Growing up, I lived in a variety of places, and I am so pleased to now live in sunny Colorado! I received my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Puget Sound in Washington. I completed my Medical Degree at the University of Iowa in 2009, and completed my residency training in Family Medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. I joined Kaiser in 2012, and enjoy working in the outpatient clinic providing care for patients off all ages.

About my practice

I enjoy Family Medicine because it allows me to care for a variety of medical conditions as well as providing continuity of care over time. The variety that family medicine brings is engaging and exciting. My day can consist of working with parents of a newborn baby, to procedures such as injections or biopsies, to discussions about transitions, to palliative care. I love caring for my pediatric patients, and helping them grow into thriving adults, as well as working with my adult patients to help them feel and live their best. I am passionate about preventative medicine and empowering patients to take control of their health. I believe in working with patients in a collaborative manner to improve their health and quality of life, and the importance of accurate and safe medical information to guide care.

How I thrive

I try to get outdoors and take advantage of the spectacular Rocky Mountains whenever possible. I enjoy hiking and camping in the summer, and skiing in the winter. I also love spending time with my husband, two children, and pets.
