About Me
Thank you for visiting my Web page so I can tell you a little bit about myself.
Biography
I was born in Taiwan and raised in Southern California. I went to UC San Diego for my undergraduate bioengineering/pre-medical education. I received my medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Western University of Health Sciences. My residency training was with Glendale Adventist Medical Center. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002. I am also the mother of two young children, so for now, my hobby is spending time with my kids.
About my practice
I think of myself as a coach for my patients in their lifelong pursuit of health. It is very rewarding to see my patients make lifestyle changes to stay healthy and also see them recover from illness.
How I thrive
Seeing life and death up close since medical school has made me realize both the fragility and the resilience of life. This helps me put things in perspective during tough times and serves as a personal reminder to appreciate the simple things in life, rain or shine. We should enjoy the melodic sound of raindrops on a rainy day and the cheerful sunshine on a sunny day.
