About Me

Thank you for visiting. I am a board-certified anesthesiologist. My focus is your safety, comfort, and clear communication, whether you are having surgery, undergoing a minor procedure requiring anesthesia, or welcoming a baby. I aim to bring a calm, steady presence to every encounter.

Biography

I am an Orange County native. I completed undergraduate studies at Stanford University, medical school at UC San Diego, and anesthesiology training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where I served as chief resident. I went on to a fellowship in regional anesthesiology at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. After time in private practice in Los Angeles, I joined Kaiser Permanente in Orange County.

About my practice

I believe it is important to spend unhurried time with members before their procedures, to answer questions and ease worries. I provide anesthesia for a wide range of operations, non-operating room procedures, and obstetric care. My subspecialty training is in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, using nerve blocks to improve surgical pain control and support recovery. I value teamwork and good communication with surgeons, nurses, and staff.

How I thrive

Life outside the hospital centers on my family. My wife and I are raising 2 young children, which keeps us active and grounded. My faith shapes how I serve members and our community, and I volunteer through our local church. I stay healthy by going to the gym or getting outside for mountain bike rides, hikes, and the occasional snowboard trip.
