About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page! My name is Dr. Michael Perdon, and I am happy to help you meet your health goals at Kaiser Permanente.

Biography

I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to New York to start my preliminary training in internal medicine. I completed my residency training in Houston and practiced primary care medicine at the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical complex in the world. I moved to Southern California to enjoy more outdoor activities with my wife and 2 sons. We enjoy spending time together as a family, whether it be travelling to other countries and learning about different cultures or just spending time at home watching movies. I became a physician because I want to help others in need, so they can be the best they can be for their families and loved ones.

About my practice

I believe that to achieve a health goal, the first step is to set your mind on the goal. I work with members on their goals, and success depends on the teamwork between the member and the physician. I also believe that working with a multidisciplinary team of other doctors, nurses, and ancillary staff, as well as members’ families, is essential to obtain optimum health.

How I thrive

In order to care for others, one must care for himself or herself first. I take time every morning to just focus on my plans for the day and pray to ask for guidance on how to be a blessing to everyone I come in contact with. I make it a priority to maintain balance in my professional and personal life. When I’m at work, I focus on my work, and when I’m at home, I focus on my family. I try to practice what I preach by eating a healthy diet and getting exercise during the week. It is my personal goal to stay healthy in mind, body, and spirit in order to be the best physician I can be for members.
