About Me

Hi, and welcome to my Web page! I am an emergency medicine physician at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana and Ontario. I have practiced emergency medicine for the past 23 years and have been with Kaiser Permanente for more than 11 years.

Biography

I grew up in Lebanon, North Africa, and Southern California. I became interested in medicine after seeing my younger sister get hit by a car and rendered unconscious for what seemed like forever. We were in Algeria at the time, and I was 12 or 13 years old. I felt totally helpless; I wanted to do something but had no knowledge of what and how, so I vowed to learn more about medicine. My sister quickly recovered but soon thereafter my mother fell quite ill and succumbed to an aggressive form of cancer, yet another event in my life that urged me to learn more about health and disease and try to make a difference in people's lives.

About my practice

I work a variety of shifts. This means you might find me in the Emergency Department at any time of the day or night. I am part of an outstanding team of highly qualified emergency medicine physicians, nurses, technicians, and other staff who help make our Emergency Department caring and efficient.

How I thrive

I love to fish, both lure and fly, salt and freshwater. I love to ski. I like pretty much anything that is outdoors.
