About Me
Welcome to my Web page, where I'd like to share some information about myself and my orthopedic practice at Kaiser Permanente South Bay.
Biography
I am a true Southern California native. I was born in Glendale and attended UC Irvine for both undergraduate studies and medical school. I then completed my orthopedic training at LA County+USC Medical Center. As the son of a family practitioner, I became intrigued by the medical sciences early on, and later found that orthopedic surgery was as close to a perfect way for me to blend my active lifestyle and science interests into a lifelong career. I am married and have two wonderful young kids that I look forward to coming home to at the end of each day.
About my practice
Our orthopedic group consists of many different physicians, podiatrists, physician assistants, orthopedic technicians, and nurses. My subspecialty of adult reconstructive surgery involves both the medical and surgical treatment of degenerative conditions and deformities of the lower extremity, specifically the hip and knee. This narrow focus in my practice allows me to incorporate the latest surgical techniques and technology into what I believe to be the best care options for members.
How I thrive
As a Kaiser Permanent physician, I am able to balance my work schedule with my other interests, which include surfing, skiing, tennis, music, my Christian faith, and my family. I also have an interest in medical volunteering, and have served on missions to Cuba, Peru, Vietnam, and other Latin American countries.
