About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have this opportunity to share information with you about myself and my practice, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
Biography
I went to medical college in New Delhi, India where I grew up. I wanted to be a physician for as long as I can remember. I moved to the United States after I finished medical college, and did my residency at USC-California Hospital Medical Center. I started working at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles in 1989 and moved to the Kaiser Permanente Culver Marina Medical Offices in 1994. I'm married with three sons. I love traveling, watching movies, dancing, reading, and skiing.
About my practice
I believe in a healthy lifestyle and preventive care, but I'm also here to help you when you are not feeling well. I feel it is a privilege to be a physician and to be in a place where I can engage with members and their families on a very personal level, helping them maintain their physical and mental well-being. I am committed to my profession and to my patients, and have many years of experience as a primary care physician. I feel fortunate to be part of a group of physicians who are equally committed and well trained, and where continuous learning is a priority.
How I thrive
I strive to maintain a balance in my life by doing regular exercise, taking long walks with my husband, and traveling with my family at least once a year. I'm also fortunate to have the support of wonderful friends and extended family, and try to spend as much time with them on weekends as I can.
