About Me
I was born in India, and I also went to medical school there. I moved to the United States in 2004 after getting married to my husband, who grew up in Athens, Ga. We recently moved from Atlanta to Athens because we wanted to be closer to home. We have a son and daughter, and we enjoy living in a young, diverse college town.
About my practice
I am very excited to be a part of Kaiser Permanente's practice in Athens. We have a very dynamic and conscientious team, and we are excited to work and grow in a beautiful college town. I think the best feature of our Athens office is our caring and pleasant staff!
How I thrive
I ran my first 5K in 2006 and soon rediscovered a childhood love of running. Since then, I have run several 5Ks and 10Ks, and I even ran a full marathon with my husband! Now, I begin my day with a 45-minute run. Doing this makes me a more focused doctor and better mother. Encouraging exercise is very important to me as a doctor, but I also enjoy learning about our members' hobbies. I also love to cook, read and play with my kids. Travel is my desired indulgence.
