About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself and give you a brief summary of my background, my interests, and my personal philosophy. I hope that this page is useful to you.

Biography

I was born in Mumbai (Bombay), India, and spent most of my childhood and early adult life in India. I was a fully trained orthopedic surgeon when I immigrated to the United States in 1991. After passing qualifying examinations in the United States, I started residency training in orthopedic surgery and fellowships in adult reconstruction and musculoskeletal oncology. I am married and have three daughters. My wife is a physician who specializes in kidney diseases in children.

About my practice

My medical practice focuses on caring for people with joint arthritis and musculoskeletal tumors. My guiding principle in treating my patients is to care for them as I would any member of my family. I believe in educating my patients about their conditions and encouraging them to be involved in the decision-making process.

How I thrive

My greatest pleasure is to see my patients do well. It is very gratifying for me to see people with severe mobility impairment to walk without discomfort or an assisting device. I like to come to work every day, and I look forward to seeing and talking to my patients. I derive great satisfaction when, at the end of a visit, I am offered a warm handshake, full of confidence and gratitude.
