About Me
Welcome to my Web page! I appreciate this opportunity to introduce myself. I started at Kaiser Permanente Department of Urology in 2015. I love the specialty of urology and would be honored to be your physician.
Biography
I grew up in a suburb of New Orleans, and was raised, along with my younger brother, on crawfish and fried chicken! After graduating from Tulane University, I moved to Seattle for a few years to work in a research lab. I did not find the lab work very fulfilling (or the food in Seattle as tasty!), so I moved back to New Orleans, where I then attended medical school at LSU. I then lived in Tampa, FL for residency training in urology. Tampa is also where I met my wife, who was also finishing her surgical training at the same time. We now call Southern California home.
About my practice
My practice deals with all aspects of urology-any issues dealing with the kidneys, ureter, bladder, prostate, or genitalia. I treat a wide scope of conditions associated with these organs, whether benign conditions or cancer. The scope and variety in urology is what drew me to this specialty. Urology is often the first to adapt new technologies and therapies to help best treat our patients. My motto is to treat all my patients as if they were my own family.
How I thrive
I thrive by having a strong support system through my loving parents and wife. I am grateful to God and to my family for where I am today. I never take this position for granted. I can promise that you will get my best as your urologist, whether in the clinic or operating room. I value and appreciate the trust that Kaiser Permanente members have given me.
