About Me
Hello, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I am an ophthalmologist at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center and Santa Clarita Medical Offices. I specialize in the treatment of cataracts and advanced glaucoma, as well as in general ophthalmology. I hope that this page will give you a sense of who I am and what I strive to do for all of my patients.
Biography
I received my bachelor's degree from Stanford University and my medical degree from Harvard Medical School. I then returned to sunny California to further train in ophthalmology at the top- ranked Doheny Eye Institute, and then stayed there to sub-specialize in surgical treatments of advanced glaucoma. I worked for several years in private practice before joining Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
I have experience in all of the latest cataract surgical and laser techniques. For those patients who will undergo cataract surgery, I am able to offer both regular and presbyopic and astigmatism correcting intraocular lenses. For patients who need treatment of glaucoma, we can discuss the latest advances in the field, whether it be medical treatments, laser treatments, surgical treatments, or some combination of all of those, depending on what is the best option for each particular patient. Together, we can decide on the optimal treatment plan for you.
How I thrive
I thrive by really enjoying my work and keeping up to date on the latest advances in the exciting field of ophthalmology. Outside of work, I try very hard to spend a lot of quality time with family and friends, explore the arts scene in Los Angeles, and travel.
