About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am privileged to practice medicine at Kaiser Permanente, where I can focus on treating each member as a person, with the utmost care and respect.

Biography

I’ve had the great opportunity to live in different areas rich in culture. I was born in Cairo, Egypt, and lived there for 10 years before my parents bravely decided to move to the United States. I then grew up in the beautiful South Bay Area of Los Angeles and graduated from Redondo Union High School. After high school, I decided to try something new and moved to the East Coast for my undergraduate education, where I attended Boston College. This was a wonderful experience for me and also where I met my beautiful wife! After some historic winters, I was fortunate to be able to move back to sunny Los Angeles to attend medical school at USC. I then completed my 6 years of residency training at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center. For my fellowship training, I headed to the Midwest and had the fantastic opportunity to train with Dr. Laurence Levine in Chicago. I am happy to be back in Southern California and being an integral part of the Orange County community and Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

My practice focuses on all aspects of general urology (kidney stones, bladder/kidney/prostate cancer, urinary issues), with a special focus on men’s health. During my fellowship with Dr. Levine, I obtained specialized training in both surgical and nonsurgical treatment of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease (curvature of the penis), male factor infertility, and urethral stricture disease.

How I thrive

My wife and I were blessed with twins, and thus there is never a dull moment at our house! As a family, we enjoy traveling, cooking, and going to the beach! I am personally a big soccer fan and follow the European soccer leagues closely (well, as much as my kids will let me).
