About Me
After earning my medical degree from the University of Louisville, I completed my residency at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. Before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2007, I was an assistant professor of internal/hospital medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
About my practice
I urge my patients not to be passive observers when it comes to their care. After all, they know their bodies better than anyone else, and that means they should be actively involved. This mentality coupled with my training in internal medicine helps me work together with my patients to achieve high quality health care and the best outcome possible. I generally treat patients over age 50, and work with specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate their care.
How I thrive
My son and three daughters keep me active when I'm at home. I also enjoy backpacking, skiing and snowshoeing in the Colorado mountains when I get the chance. My other interests include swimming, racquetball, indoor soccer and my involvement with the Boy Scouts of America.
