About Me

I grew up in Keizer, Oregon. After high school I moved to Portland for college, medical school, and internal medicine residency. My husband's job led us to Salem, where we are raising our three children and enjoying the strong community that surrounds us. I became interested in medicine after volunteering at Salem Hospital in high school. I was drawn to medicine because it combined my enthusiasm for math and science with serving others.

About my practice

I spent the first 12 years of my career caring for patients in the hospital, and I am now focused on taking care of patients in skilled-nursing facilities. My goal is to make the transition from hospital to home easier for patients and their families. I believe in patient-centered care with clear and open communication. My hope is that each patient feels fully supported in their recovery.

How I thrive

As a working mom, I find that my entire day can be taken up with work and family. I thrive by carving out time to hit the local gym for either a spin or weights class. I am also a regular at Oregon Duck football games with my friends and family. My family likes to get away to Bend — to ski in the winter and to bike on the endless trails in the summertime.
