About Me

I began working in behavioral health with an interest in treating depression, anxiety and crisis interventions. After recognizing a dual component in treatment, I decided to focus my practice on chemical dependency. I am most proud of being a part of a dynamic team serving an acute population of highly motivated clients. I find that sharing in the improved health of my clients is the most rewarding aspect of the work I do.

The chemical dependency treatment services at Kaiser Permanente provide high-quality, affordable care to members seeking treatment for substance use. We also provide services to family members who may be affected by a loved one’s substance use. We have a defined range of care which uses the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria to inform and direct appropriate care. Group therapy is a principal component of chemical dependency care. Patient treatment goals are designed to meet individual needs while considering the individual’s readiness and motivation to change.

How I thrive

I have an interest in anything outdoors that pushes me physically and emotionally. I enjoy reading and cooking to wind down my day. Practicing yoga and meditation allows me to align my mind, body and spirit.
