About Me

Hi! My name is Nayomi Sajan. Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente. I am an emergency medicine physician at Kaiser Permanente’s West Los Angeles Medical Center.

Biography

I moved to California from Liberia when I was 15 years old. To me, practicing medicine is about helping not only those in my community but also those around the world. After my training in emergency medicine, I pursued my master’s degree in public health at Columbia University as well as a fellowship in global health. I served communities in Darjeeling, Nepal, Thailand, and Tanzania. Now my husband and I are back home in Los Angeles. We’ve welcomed our first daughter!

About my practice

Hopefully with Kaiser Permanente's preventive medicine model, you'll never need to visit an emergency room. But should the need arise, our emergency medicine team will take care of you.

How I thrive

I live well by being active, thinking positively, and eating healthfully. I enjoy a morning run, reading a good book, cooking with my husband, and relaxing on the beach!
