About Me

Welcome to my Web page! My name is Dr. Andre Zimmerman. I hope the information provided on this page will help you learn a little bit about me as a doctor and person living and working in the Los Angeles area.

Biography

I grew up in Guerneville, a very small town in northern California along the Russian River. I moved south to attend college at UC Santa Barbara and medical school at UCLA. I completed my training in orthopedic surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, followed by one year of fellowship training in sports medicine/arthroscopic surgery. I love the outdoors, spending a lot of my time playing volleyball on the beach, and snowboarding in the mountains. I live in the South Bay with my wife and young son.

About my practice

I have a general orthopedic practice, specializing in arthroscopic surgeries of the knee and shoulder, traumatic injuries, and knee replacement surgeries.

How I thrive

I have been a competitive athlete my whole life in several sports, focusing on gymnastics in high school and college. I currently enjoy beach volleyball, snowboarding, mountain biking, short distance running, and weight training. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling the world, and relaxing by the beach!
