Welcome to my Web page. I'm Dr. Paul B. Kazimiroff. We have a very close department and we work together as a team to give our patients the best possible neurology care.

Biography

I joined the department of neurology in 1981, and I was the chief of neurology at our facility from 1993 until January 2014. I started practicing at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles immediately upon completing my residency in neurology at Harbor General Hospital (now known as Harbor-UCLA Medical Center) in Torrance. I continue to formally teach the residents and interns in neurology yearly as an adjunctive associate professor of neurology of UCLA for more than twenty years.

About my practice

I have a background in general neurology, but due to having completed a formal residency in pediatrics first, I have a special qualification in dealing with neurological problems in children and infants. I also have a keen interest in peripheral neurology having to do with muscle disorders and peripheral nerve disorders, and I serve as co-director of the Brachial Plexus Clinic, which was founded and operates out of the Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center for the entire Kaiser Permanente system. I also serve as a volunteer consultant to the primates at the Los Angeles Zoo who may encounter neurological emergencies or debilitating disorders.

How I thrive

I strongly believe in maintaining personal interests that embrace outdoor activities, and regular exercise, whether it's indoors or out. I have a strong religious respect for all living forms in nature, and believe that all nature needs to be revered and preserved, as well as managed very carefully if we are to survive as a species.
