About Me

Choosing a surgeon can be difficult and I hope that the following information will make that decision a little easier for you.

Biography

I’m a graduate of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. I also completed a rigorous five-year general surgery training program at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, and two additional years of plastic surgery training at the University of Miami. I’m dually board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and the American Board of Surgery. From 2004–2007, I served as a combat/trauma surgeon on active duty with the US Air Force. I’m a proud veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom—treating and saving many coalition troops during my deployments. My unique experience, along with my training, has made me a surgeon who is comfortable in any situation, and who can provide you with the most up-to-date, specialized plastic surgical care.

About my practice

I perform plastic and reconstructive procedures for the entire body. My particular interests are in microvascular tissue transplantation, where a member’s own tissues are used to provide a reconstruction.

How I thrive

In my spare time, I enjoy model aviation, playing hockey, and spending time with my three wonderful children and my wife.
