I earned my medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical School in Little Rock, Ark. in 1988. I completed my residency in internal medicine in Arkansas in 1991 and I continued practicing general medicine there for 11 years before moving to Denver. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2004 and I'm board certified in internal medicine which is my specialty.
