About Me

I am from Arvada, Colorado and have always enjoyed an active Colorado lifestyle with an emphasis on the outdoors. I have two daughters and a lovely wife who practices pediatric critical care at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Practicing emergency medicine affords me the opportunity to meet a diverse population of patients and provide care at a time when people need it most.

About my practice

I chose to practice emergency medicine so that I would have the opportunity to take care of the most severely ill and injured patients. I believe in practicing evidence-based, patient-centric, cost-effective medicine. I will treat you and your family with respect and take your concerns seriously. I appreciate the trust that you place in me when you arrive to the emergency department and I assure you that I will strive to provide you with the highest quality care possible. I like the fact that the emergency department is a safe haven for patients that does not discriminate on social or financial circumstances. The doors of the emergency department are always open and we use our resourcefulness and training to find solutions to whatever problem may walk through the door.

How I thrive

I enjoy staying active and healthy through mountain biking, rock climbing and skiing. I stay busy keeping up with my young daughters, reading, working in our garden and camping in the summer. Kaiser Permanente is an amazing extension of my personal belief in health and wellness.
