About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to be able to tell you about myself and my practice.

Biography

I was born in South Africa and moved here when I was 17 years old and have lived in Los Angeles ever since. I love the diversity that Los Angeles offers. I live with my husband and daughter in the San Fernando Valley. I completed both my medical school and residency training at UCLA. Medicine is the perfect fit for me—it combines my love of science with my desire to help people live healthier happier lives.

About my practice

I am a family medicine doctor, which means I take care of my patients during all phases life. The highlight of my workday is care for my patients. I am also the program director of our wonderful Family Medicine Residency Program at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center. I thoroughly enjoy teaching our residents.

How I thrive

When I am not at work I am usually with my husband and daughter. I go hiking and walking with my family and work out with yoga and fitness classes.
