About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I’m glad I have the chance to introduce myself and tell you a bit about my credentials and practice style.

Biography

I’m originally from the Midwest but I moved to Southern California in 2008 for family and better weather. I’m a board-certified dermatologist and internal medicine specialist. I did intensive multispecialty training in both dermatology and internal medicine to give me a unique perspective on diagnosing and treating many different dermatologic conditions, ranging from skin cancers to rashes to conditions that affect the entire body. I received my medical degree and did my residency training at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. When I completed my residency, I moved to San Diego. In 2013 I moved to Kern County to be closer to my family. I’ve got to say that I love working in Bakersfield!

About my practice

I believe in providing quality medical care with a personal touch. I treat many different types of skin conditions ranging from acne to skin cancers and rashes. My added training in internal medicine helps me to approach each patient from a whole body perspective.

How I thrive

In my free time, I love to spend as much time as possible outdoors and being active. I spend most of my weekends up in the mountains with my family—hiking, biking, kayaking, or training for a triathlon.
