About Me

I have years of experience in neonatology and have been with the Colorado Permanente Medical Group since 1987. l trained internationally in Vancouver, Canada, for pediatrics and in Adelaide, South Australia, for neonatology. I enjoy the challenges of taking care of infants with a range of serious conditions. I believe that I am truly blessed to participate in births.

About my practice

Our unit practices family-centered care, which incorporates the family members in the care of their infant. I am able to adapt my communication style in the belief that if the care team is appropriate and gentle in our communication it might relieve some of the stress the family is experiencing while their infant is in the NICU. I try to treat each patient and their family as if they were related to me and provide the best care possible. I enjoy working with families in helping them understand exactly why their infant is sick and what treatments our team can provide.

How I thrive

I enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking, weight lifting and drawing.
