About Me
Hello, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to maximize for your health and wellbeing.
Biography
I wanted to pursue medicine from a very young age and always found great reward in being able to assist and serve others. Before joining the Kaiser Permanente team, I served as a physician in the U.S. Navy and retired after over 24 years of service. I had opportunities to travel and meet people from all over the world, as well as gain training and experience in internal medicine, preventive medicine, and rheumatology.
About my practice
Rheumatology focuses on the diagnosis and management of a variety of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. It is one that is both challenging and rewarding. I particularly enjoy the relationships with patients that are often developed in the course of their care. Being a Kaiser Permanente physician allows me to easily collaborate with your team of providers to deliver coordinated, high quality care. It’s a wonderful place to practice medicine!
How I thrive
I enjoy snow skiing, tennis, and mountain biking. I'm also blessed to have a wonderful family and many friends that provide the support that we all need.
