About Me

I grew up in the southeast United States, but I consider myself fortunate to have lived, worked, learned, and practiced in Colorado for most of the last 40 years. I chose the specialty of radiology to integrate my technical background as an electrical engineer with medicine.

About my practice

At the end of each day, I am rewarded by a practice in radiology that remains challenging and interesting after 25 years, as well as knowing that I have been able to contribute to the health care of 50 to 100 people in that day. My practice focuses on the interpretation of MRI, CT and ultrasound exams of the chest, abdomen and pelvis. In addition, I interpret nuclear medicine exams. I take the time to get to know my patients by reviewing their electronic medical record. This allows me to assist in providing the most appropriate care for their needs, so they aren’t spending extra time or money to get the care they deserve. Patients can gain a better understanding of their health because they can access their medical record, prescription information and lab results at kp.org.

How I thrive

My personal time is filled by many activities enjoyed with my wife, 2 grown children, 3 grandchildren and 2 dogs.
