About Me
I grew up in California but did all of my training (medical school, residency and fellowship) in the Midwest. I have been working for Kaiser Permanente since the completion of my fellowship training, initially in Hawaii and then in Colorado beginning in 2005. It is my pleasure to work with patients to improve their state of health and wellness. I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022 and was also honored there in 2019 and 2020.
About my practice
I see both pulmonary and sleep patients in the outpatient setting. In Sleep Medicine, we have a strong team approach working with our respiratory therapists to provide the best possible care for our patients. Overall, my goal is to understand my patients as individuals so that I can provide them with the support and care they need. No 2 people experience illness in the exact same way, and though sometimes treatment options are limited, there is no one-size-fits-all in medical care.
How I thrive
I enjoy time spent with my family, but I also exercise, take walks and read books. I'm always interested in newer information about the many things that impact our health, including nutrition, exercise and the mind-body connection. I volunteer in my son's school regularly.
