Welcome to my Web page. My name is Dr. Sarah Hooks. I am a general internist at the Kaiser Permanente’s West Los Angeles Medical Center.

Biography

I am from Missouri, but I have been in Los Angeles since 1998. I love it here and plan to stay forever!

About my practice

The nurses and I work hard to provide high-quality care to all of our members. My passion is prevention of disease and illness. I encourage all members to follow a plant-based diet and to be as active as possible. I always favor lifestyle changes over medicine whenever possible. I welcome all members, including LGBTQ members, people of all ages, people with multiple medical problems, including end-of-life issues, and even people who don’t like doctors :)
