About Me
I am a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist specializing in immunotherapy at Kaiser Permanente’s Riverside Medical Center. I’m a lifelong Trojan, having completed my entire medical education at USC. Fight on!
Biography
I am proud to serve our community as a hematologist and medical oncologist at Kaiser Permanente in Riverside. My clinical passion lies in delivering innovative care that is tailored to each member’s needs and is based on evidence and current research. I currently serve as the director of our Genitourinary (GU), and Melanoma Research program. It is my goal to bring advanced immunotherapy treatments to members with melanoma and other challenging cancers. I feel deeply privileged to work alongside a dedicated team that shares a commitment to excellence, compassion, and continuous learning.
About my practice
I specialize in the treatment of genitourinary malignancies and melanoma, and care of research patients. I also care for members with a wide range of hematologic and solid tumor diagnoses. I focus on combining precision medicine with personalized support throughout the cancer journey — from diagnosis to survivorship. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that each member benefits from the collective expertise of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and supportive care specialists.
Cancer Subspecialty Focus
My clinical expertise includes the treatment of skin cancers including melanoma, and genitourinary cancers such as bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular cancers.
Collaboration on Multidisciplinary Teams
I completed my time as the co-lead for our national GU oncology team in 2024. I participate in several multidisciplinary teams including GU, Cutaneous Melanoma, Molecular, and Emerging Therapeutics.
Research and Clinical Trials Involvement
I am involved in several prestigious National Cancer Institute–supported research networks. I am an executive member of SWOG’s GU committee and serve on various disease committees. I also serve on the National Cancer Institute’s Prostate Cancer Task Force. I lead Kaiser Permanente’s GU and melanoma trials and also serve as the associate director for the cancer trials program.
How I thrive
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my 2 daughters. We are a family of artists and book readers, and you’ll find us learning new TikTok dances, painting a new piece of art for an expo, or deeply immersed in a book.
