About Me

I am a native Atlantan, but I have lived in several areas of the country and the world. My family and I love the outdoors, the arts and the cultural diversity of this great city and state. I chose to study medicine while in college. It was one of the best decisions of my life. I enjoy working with people who need help. I feel a tremendous satisfaction in seeing my patients years later, living normal, productive and cancer-free lives.

About my practice

There are three medical specialties involved in attempting to cure cancer patients: Surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology. Radiation oncology was added to the Kaiser Permanente team in 2013 to address the needs of our cancer patients. Now, all three specialties work together to maximize the benefits and minimize the side effects of treatment. As a radiation oncologist, I try to educate our members about cancer and the various treatment options to fit their specific needs.

How I thrive

Like most people, the majority of my activity is at work. Since I love what I do, I look forward to work daily. In my free time, I enjoy many outdoor activities. In the evening, I spend time writing and reading. I sometimes attempt oil painting, mostly landscapes and still life. I am devoted to my wife and family.
