About Me

I was raised in the Washington, D.C. area and did my basic nursing education there. I then moved to San Francisco for graduate school, where I met my husband. He is a Denver native, so we moved to Denver just after we were married in 1971. He is a retired Neonatologist and a photographer. We have three grown children, two granddaughters, and are now raising two grand dogs. My Nurse Practitioner education was at the University of Colorado in the early days of the Nurse Practitioner movement. I have practiced as an Ob/Gyn Nurse Practitioner since 1973 and have been with Kaiser Permanente since 1978. I cannot imagine doing anything else!

About my practice

In my practice as an Ob/Gyn Nurse Practitioner, I see women of all ages from teens to seniors. My practice includes all aspects of women's health care from Prenatal Care to Menopause Management. I enjoy working with our entire team to provide compassionate, comprehensive care for women.

How I thrive

I thrive by volunteering. I am active in nursing professional associations in Colorado and at the national level and serve on several non-profit boards. I also work and volunteer in the horse show industry. This keeps me quite busy, but I try to find time to read novels for relaxation.
