About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you a little about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my great colleagues and our members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I am a native Southern Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. I knew I wanted to be a physician while volunteering at a private doctor's office during high school. I decided I wanted to practice palliative and hospice care in part because of the care I saw my grandmother receive in the last few months of her life. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity.

About my practice

Home-based medical care is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way. Visiting members in their home allows me to understand where people come from, their support system, and their lives. It is a true privilege to help members understand their concerns, learn their innermost fears and wishes, and to communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. Although I truly enjoy my job, my family life is my major priority. My husband and I enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and spending quality time together. I recently had my third child; I work hard every day so my children can be proud to call me “Mommy.”
