About Me
After growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, I discovered a deep love for Colorado while attending Colorado College as an undergraduate. I attended Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and while I enjoyed my time in Baltimore very much, I was quite happy to return to Colorado for my internship and residency. I have lived and practiced pediatrics in Denver for more than 20 years. It has been a great privilege and joy to get to know and serve so many wonderful families and share in the care of terrific young people.
About my practice
I schedule patients two days per week in Castle Rock and feel very strongly about partnering with parents in the care of their children. I hope to understand the unique ways in which each child responds to challenges, whether that is illness or other stresses inherent in growing up. I am open to ideas and perspectives that parents have regarding how best to support and enable their child to thrive.
How I thrive
In addition to pediatric care, I spend a half day per week teaching a mindfulness program for stress reduction for adults. I love spending time with my family and friends, and I leave plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors, walking or hiking with my dogs, Maya and Zoe. I also enjoy dancing, yoga, meditation, movies and books.
